Man crashes off bike taking corner at high speed
A motorcyclist has allowed police to release footage of his high-speed crash in the hope it encourages others to ride more carefully.
Dashcam footage from a passing driver showed the 22-year-old falling from his bike as he lost control on a bend in Norfolk in April.
He was thrown into the road, while his bike ended up in a nearby ditch, but escaped with only minor cuts and bruises.
PC Alex Williams from Norfolk Police said: "It could easily have been much worse, just a split second or a small change in position could have made a huge difference.
"The safety gear he was wearing clearly took a big hit and likely prevented something far more serious."
