Family 'robbed of memories' after baby's dog death
SuppliedThe family of a baby girl who died after being attacked by a dog said they have been "robbed of a beautiful lifetime and memories".
Maggie-May Ann Moody died in Dormanstown, Redcar, on 9 April.
The family of the three-month-old paid tribute to "little Maggie" in a statement, released through Cleveland Police, which said: "Maggie changed us in so many ways. She was everything to us. She gave us meaning and purpose every day and we feel empty."
Two men, aged 36 and 45, and a 31-year-old woman were arrested in connection with her death and have been released on conditional bail.
Armed police responded to the incident on Hardale Grove. One dog was destroyed on the street and another in the property, police said.
The force said neither animal was believed to be a banned breed.
All three people were arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control resulting in death.
The woman was also charged with child neglect.

Tributes were left at the scene, including flowers and soft toys.
Maggie's family said they were at the hospital with her and "never left her side".
"Her brother and sister adored little Maggie and will miss her dearly, as they had plans for the rest of their lives.
"Our lives will never be the same again, she will always be in our hearts.
"Goodnight, God bless baby girl x."
