Drone footage shows progress on new 10-mile road
Drone footage shows the progress as a new 10-mile (16km) dual carriageway is built between Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
The £1bn by-pass will connect the Black Cat roundabout on the A1 in Bedfordshire and the Caxton Gibbet roundabout in Cambridgeshire.
It will replace a stretch of single carriageway south of St Neots on the A428 - completing the dualling of the route from the M1 at Milton Keynes to the Port of Felixstowe in Suffolk, which includes the A14.
Once open, the new section is expected to cut peak-time journeys by up to 10 minutes and it is due to open next spring.
