Men deny stealing drugs from disposal facility where they worked

Five men will go on trial after being charged with conspiring to steal drugs from the disposal facility where they worked and selling them on.

The Class A and B substances, including cocaine, cannabis and amphetamines, had been sent to Stericycle in Leeds to be safely processed and disposed of.

Patrick King, 35, Robert George, 40, Vincent Holroyd, 53, Max Holroyd, 31, and Aaron Waite, 33, are all accused of conspiracy to steal from an employer and conspiracy to supply controlled drugs between 2023 and 2026.

They all entered not guilty pleas to all the charges against them when they appeared at Leeds Crown Court on 31 July and will be tried at the same court in April 2029.

Vincent Holroyd, of Halton, and Max Holroyd, of Osmondthorpe, also deny firearms offences and Waite, of Gipton, denies acquiring or using criminal property.

Stericycle disposes of hazardous, pharmaceutical and clinical waste, including controlled drugs. It employs more than 1,700 people.
