Two arrested after man stabbed in town centre park

Two men, aged in their 20s, have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Maidstone.

The victim, who was found injured in Brenchley Gardens, was taken to a London hospital after the attack at about 17:20 BST on Wednesday, Kent Police said.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on Thursday and bailed, pending further inquiries, and a 22-year-old man was arrested on Friday and remains in custody. The victim has been discharged from hospital.
