Woman arrested after baby dies
BBCA woman has been arrested following the death of a baby.
Devon and Cornwall Police is investigating after a baby died in the area of Charles Darwin Road and Pembroke Street in Plymouth on Monday evening.
The force was called by the ambulance service at 19:30 GMT after concerns were raised for the child. The baby was confirmed dead at the scene.
Police said a woman in her 30s has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect. She remains in police custody and inquiries are ongoing.
