Tributes as motorcyclist killed in M11 crash is named
Traffic EnglandA family has paid tribute to a motorcyclist killed in a crash on the M11 on the Cambridgeshire-Essex border earlier this month.
Richard Beazer, 54, from Outwell in west Norfolk, died after his green Kawasaki ZX 636 was involved in a collision with an orange Mini Cooper near junction 9 for Great Chesterford at about 07:00 BST on 1 June, Cambridgeshire Police said.
In a statement issued through the force, his family said he "led a full life that was cut so devastatingly short".
"He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who brought joy and happiness to all those lucky enough to ever have known him and he will be so dearly missed by family and all his friends," they added.
Part of the road was closed between junction 9 and junction 9A at Stump Cross for more than nine hours.
