Two in hospital following report of stabbing

A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after armed police attended reports of a stabbing in Peterborough.

Cambridgeshire Police was called to London Road at about 19:00 BST on Sunday.

The victim was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. A 52-year-old man from Peterborough, who police want to talk to in connection with the incident, is also in hospital.

The incident is being treated as an isolated case.
