Police car on 999 call crashes on motorway
Getty ImagesA police car responding to an emergency call was involved in a crash on the M20, according to Kent Police.
The force said the unmarked blue Skoda Octavia had its lights and siren on while travelling to a separate, fatal crash near Deal on Monday when it collided with a blue Nissan Qashqai.
Investigators asked drivers with dashcam footage and witnesses to the crash to contact the force.
They are trying to locate the driver of a lorry with a white trailer, which was in the adjacent lane when the crash took place on the coastbound carriageway near Charing at about 23:00 BST.
"No serious injuries were reported and the three occupants of the second car were taken to a local hospital as a precaution," Kent Police said.
