Jeremy Clarkson's choir announces debut album after performing in Welsh
A choir put together by Jeremy Clarkson announced they will be releasing their debut album during a performance at the Royal Welsh Show.
The Hawkstone Farmers' Choir was set up by the TV presenter, who owns his own farm Diddly Squat in Chadlington, Oxfordshire, to support farmers with their mental health.
On Monday the group performed in Welsh for the first time, singing the hymn Calon Lân at this year's agricultural show in Llanelwedd, Powys.
The 2026 winners of Britain's Got Talent also announced they have been busy at the recording studio, with their first single set to be released soon.
Will RogersThe choir, which includes members from Wales, performed four songs at Wales' biggest annual agricultural festival.
A video shows the choir stood in three rows singing the Welsh hymn, which was written in the 1890s by Daniel James and sung to a tune by John Hughes.
During their performance, they shared with the crowd that their debut single will be This Is Home, the song the choir performed during Britain's Got Talent.
Royal Welsh ShowThe choir was originally founded by Clarkson as part of an advertising campaign for his Cotswolds-based brewing firm.
Since then, the group has remained together and used its platform to help raise awareness around mental health in farming.
After entering Britain's Got Talent, judge Amanda Holden pressed her golden buzzer following the ensemble's performance on the Saturday evening show in May.
The 30-strong group of farmers got a free pass to the semi finals of the ITV talent show and won the £250,000 cash prize in the final - including the opportunity to perform at the annual Royal Variety Performance in November.
The members described Clarkson, who was in the audience for the live final, as their "biggest cheerleader" and added they "couldn't thank him enough".
