Three people have been injured in a two-vehicle crash, one of them seriously.

The crash between a VW Polo and Hyundai Bayon happened on Worcester Road, in Harvington, Worcestershire, at about 11:40 BST on Sunday.

An 18-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Polo, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, said West Mercia Police.

A man and woman in the other vehicle, aged in their 70s, sustained minor injuries and were also taken to hospital, added the force which appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said its response included four ambulances, a trauma doctor and a critical care paramedic.

Two women and a man were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, it said. A fourth patient, a man, was assessed and discharged at the scene.
