Police hunt for three men after Halloween stabbing

Police are searching for three men after a man was left with life-changing injuries in a stabbing.

Wiltshire Police said the attack happened near the car park at Tesco Extra in Trowbridge shortly before 14:00 GMT on 31 October.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries, police said.

The force has launched an appeal for witnesses and footage relating to the attack, and added the suspects fled the scene.

The public is likely to see an increased police presence in the area while inquiries continue, police said.

Det Sgt Jonathan Dean, from central criminal investigation department at Wiltshire Police, said officers did not believe there was a wider risk to the public.
