Residents have been urged to close their windows as a large fire has broken out at a former paper mill.

Multiple crews from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service are tackling flames at the Old Paper Mill on Brendon Road in Watchet.

The fire service confirmed the blaze, which has destroyed the roof, started at about 18:45 BST.

People living in Watchet have been urged to keep their doors and windows shut due to "thick smoke".
