A recount for a constituency has ended with the four deputies initially elected topping the poll again.

Vote.je said a recount was required as the 2026 Jersey general election result for St Helier Central fell within the 1% margin of error.

Following the recount, Reform Jersey candidates Carina Alves, Lyndsay Feltham, Catherine Curtis and Lee Carpenter were the top four with 1,106, 982, 850 and 833 votes respectively - the same result from Monday's original count.

The only difference from the previous result was fifth-placed candidate Robin Ward losing a vote to go down to 811 and sixth-placed Claire de Than going up one to 582.
