Electric vehicle charger grant deadline looms

People are being reminded about an incentive to help buy chargers for electric vehicles.

Jersey's government said eligible applicants could get £700 towards the cost of purchasing and installing a charger at their property. The incentive was to support the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, officials said.

In a bid to access the funding, officials said the application had to be made by an approved electrician.

Applications close on 13 December.
