Detectives investigate incident at property

Police are still at the property in St Leonards after receiving a call in the early hours of the morning

Detectives have confirmed they are investigating an incident at a property in East Sussex.

Officers remain at an address in Seven Acre Close, St Leonards, after a call was received shortly before 04:30 BST.

Det Ch Supt Karrie Bohanna said: "At the moment we believe this was an isolated incident that does not pose a threat to the wider community. We are in the early stages of our investigation and we are not able to comment further at this time."

She added there would be an increased police presence in the area while officers carried out inquiries.
