Man, 21, charged with terror offences

A 21-year-old man has been charged with terror offences following a police investigation.

Joshua Jones, of Buttercup Close, Stockton, on Teesside, faces four counts of possessing a document likely to be useful to someone committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

He has also been charged with transmitting the contents of two terrorist publications electronically.

Jones will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court, in London, on Tuesday, Counter Terrorism Policing North East said.
