CCTV released of men after dead horse found on road
Avon and Somerset PoliceFootage of three men has been released by police investigating the death of a horse found on a busy road.
Avon and Somerset Police said it received lots of calls when the horse was discovered in Stoke Gifford on the outskirts of Bristol at about 18:00 GMT on 17 March.
The force said it believes the three men have information which could help its investigation.
Neighbourhood Inspector Stephen Baines said the case of "animal cruelty" had caused "caused significant concern in the community".
Police described the men they want to speak to in connection with the incident, on Winterbourne Road, as:
- White, of medium to stocky build, with a tattoo on his right forearm, and wearing a green T-shirt.
- White, of medium build with light-coloured hair and glasses, and wearing a gilet.
- White, of slim build with dark hair and wearing a dark top.
Avon and Somerset PoliceBaines said: "We understand several people would have been in the area at the time of the incident, and we would encourage anybody with information who has not yet contacted us to come forward.
"Anybody with information on the identities of the people pictured, or who may have dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage at around the time of the incident, are urged to contact us using the details below."
