Video shows drink-driving teen during police chase
Video from a police chase shows an 18-year-old, who was spared jail, driving dangerously while under the influence of alcohol.
Jimmy James, from Whitchurch, was given a 14-month sentence that was suspended for two years, at Winchester Crown Court on Friday.
James previously pleaded guilty to driving dangerously, failing to stop after an accident and using a motor vehicle without insurance and while above the legal alcohol limit.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said the offences took place on 13 June on the A31, the A303 and roads between Andover and Whitchurch.
The video footage appears to show James was travelling in excess of 100mph.
The CPS confirmed that James will also be required to pay a £500 fine and a £187 victim surcharge as well as undertake 200 hours of unpaid work and 25 hours of Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.
He has also been disqualified from driving for three years and will need to take an extended retest at the end of the ban.
