Watch: Would-be thieves ride off without taking bike

A group of would-be thieves were filmed riding around a hotel car park before trying to steal a bike until members of the public intervened.

Nottinghamshire Police said it received a report of three males attempting to steal the motorbike from the car park of the Village Hotel, in Chilwell, Nottinghamshire, shortly before 13:45 BST on Sunday.

But after people intervened, the group left the area without the bike, the force added.
