Watch: Police raid organised crime targets in Teesside

Cleveland Police have carried out one of their biggest raids on organised crime targets in years.

About 130 officers were involved in the operation which saw 17 people arrested in the Middlesbrough area.

The raids are part of a response to a crash on the nearby A66 last month, which resulted in the death of two officers in a police pursuit.

Five men also died when their Volkswagen Passat went the wrong way down the road and hit a Cleveland Police armed response vehicle heading in the opposite direction.

The BBC's Stuart Whincup was with the police as they carried out the arrests.
