Moment drug dealer arrested after fleeing abandoned car
This is the moment a drug-dealer who led police on a dangerous car chase was arrested.
Anton Oakley drove away from officers in his black Vauxhall Astra in Dogsthorpe, in Peterborough, on 19 June, before abandoning the car and fleeing on foot.
Officers found £460 cash and a small amount of crack cocaine in his sock when he was arrested. A pair of nunchucks and a mace was found at a property in Dogsthorpe linked to Oakley.
The 37-year-old, of no fixed address, admitted being concerned in the supply of drugs, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, possessing crack cocaine and two counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a private place.
He was jailed for 17 months at Cambridge Crown Court on Monday and disqualified from driving for two years and 262 days.
