The Wedding Photographer of Darfur

Mohammed, a photographer from Darfur, was forced to flee the violence in el-Fasher and now lives in Tawila, a refuge for thousands displaced by the conflict in Sudan.

For years, he documented Sudan's wars, capturing scenes of displacement, loss, and survival. Today, his lens is focused on something very different, couples, families and communities celebrating best days they have not had in a long times.
