'Like the National Portrait Gallery, but you can wee on it'
A graphic-designer-turned-street artist has painted the faces of 19 local dogs on a bollard as part of an annual festival.
Murals have also been painted on walls and shop windows as part of Concrete Canvas, a project organised by Chelmsford's business improvement district.
Nick Hearne said his slightly tongue-in-cheek design was inspired by pooches using bollards to relieve themselves.
"It's a bit like the National Portrait Gallery, except you can wee on it," he told BBC Essex.
