When Dolly met baby Emma in maternity ward

Claire Jarman was recovering from giving birth to her first child at Rotherham Hospital when she received an unusual visitor on the maternity ward.

Dolly Parton, who was launching her Imagination Library in the UK town in 2007, was ushered in - along with a legion of press.

The superstar sat down with Claire and husband Shane and cradled baby Emma as she explained that the tot would receive books from her and cooed over the newborn.
