Two held after fight leaves victim seriously hurt

Two men have been arrested after a fight in Bradford left one person with serious injuries.

West Yorkshire Police were called to New Line in Greengates, Bradford just after 22:00 BST on Friday following reports of an altercation.

The men, aged 49 and 31, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

The victim was taken to Leeds General Infirmary to be treated and enquiries remain ongoing, the force said. Anyone with information is being urged to contact them.
