Firefighters tackle pair of farmland blazes
BBCFirefighters tackled two blazes on open farmland in Lincolnshire on Saturday.
The county's fire and rescue service said it was called to Kirton Holme, near Boston, at 01:00 BST.
It also attended a fire at 10:20 in Billinghay, near Sleaford, which destroyed 14 hectares of crop fields.
The causes are not known.
Firefighters from Kirton, Boston, Donington, Billingborough, Leverton, Sleaford and Grantham attended the incident near Boston, which was initially reported as a hay bales fire.
A tractor trailer and two other trailers were severely damaged, as was a grass embankment and conifers.
Crews from Sleaford, Woodhall Spa, Horncastle, Spilsby and Alford attended the blaze at Billinghay.
