A woman and a man died at the scene of the crash in Warwickshire

A woman and a man have been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Warwickshire.

Warwickshire Police said officers were called to the scene on the A46 southbound near Stoneleigh at 06:31 BST on Wednesday, where the driver of a red Seat car had left the road for unknown reasons.

Both victims, a woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s, died at the scene.

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews had discovered the car off the road on arrival at the scene, between junction 6 and 5 of the A46.

Anyone who saw the crash or has CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to contact Warwickshire Police.
