Attempted murder arrest after stabbing
BBCA man and a woman have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Lancashire.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was found with stab wounds on Church Street in Darwen town centre during the early hours of Sunday 20 September.
He was given first aid at the scene before being taken to hospital by ambulance, where he remains in a stable condition, Lancashire Police said.
A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a woman in her 40s on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Both remain in custody.
