Two men arrested over £580,000 cocaine haul in Glasgow

Two men have been arrested after cocaine worth up to £579,000 was recovered in police raids in Glasgow.

Police Scotland said officers searched properties on Garry Street in Mount Florida and Grovepark Gardens in Cowcaddens at 18:10 on Friday.

The two men, aged 19 and 25, were charged and are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.

Det Sgt John Rhoddan said: "This recovery highlights our commitment to tackling dangerous and illegal drugs in our local communities."
