Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash with van

A motorcyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in Cottingham.

The motorcycle collided with a stationary Ford transit van in Harland Way at about 08:00 BST on Monday, said a Humberside Police spokesperson.

The rider, a 28-year-old man, was taken to hospital with injuries described as life-threatening, they said.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
