Biker admits riding dangerously on Jersey road
BBCA 29-year-old man has pleaded guilty to riding a motorcycle dangerously.
At Jersey's Magistrate's Court, Andrew Manuel Carvalho Franco admitted driving dangerously on Route du Ouest in St Ouen on 19 March.
Relief Magistrate Harris dismissed a lesser charge of speeding, which said Franco was doing 111mph (179km/h) on the road near Les Landes Racecourse where the speed limit is 40mph (64km/h). However, this formed the basis of the dangerous driving charge.
Harris granted Franco bail until sentencing, due on 30 June, but immediately disqualified him from driving. Harris also said he thought Franco was at a low risk of re-offending, but there was still a "distinct possibility" he faced jailed.

Franco also pleaded guilty to a separate count of failing to notify authorities of changing address.
