Man left with life-threatening injuries after off-road bike and car crash
BBCA 19-year-old man has been taken to hospital after a crash between a car and an off-road bike in Paisley.
The crash, which involved an orange off-road bike and a grey Vauxhall Corsa, happened at about 21:45 on Saturday night at the junction between Foxbar Road and Gleniffer Road.
The man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition has been described as serious. The 22-year-old female driver was also taken to hospital.
Police said inquiries were ongoing and they were keen to speak to another rider who was there at the time of the crash.
Sgt Scott Gourlay said: "Our inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are asking anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.
"In particular we are keen to speak to the rider of another orange off-road bike who was present at the time of the crash as they may have vital information that could assist with our investigation."
