Elderly woman dies after two vehicle road crash

An elderly woman has died after a road crash in Coleraine on Saturday.

She's been named by police as 85-year-old Maud Kerr, from the Macosquin area.

Police received a report at about 12.30 BST of a crash involving two-vehicles on the Windyhill Road.

The emergency services attended, but Mrs Kerr died at the scene.

A man, aged in his 80s, remains in a stable condition in hospital.

The Windyhill Road, which was closed for a time, has now fully reopened.
