Former footballer Thierry Nevers, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, has been ordered to disclose his financial information

A footballer who bragged on social media about his drug dealing has been ordered to reveal information about his finances by a judge.

Thierry Nevers, 24, who previously played for West Ham, Newport County and Bradford City, was jailed for three years in December after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

A proceeds of crime hearing at Lincoln Crown Court on Wednesday heard forensic accounting evidence relating to Nevers was missing.

Judge James House KC adjourned the hearing until 2 October and warned Nevers: "There is still ongoing work in your case. You will need to co-operate with your solicitor."

Nevers, of Severn Way, Tilehurst, Reading, was previously described by Lincolnshire Police as a "known Instagram content maker, bragging about drug dealing in his videos".

His accomplice, Allan Barrass, 50, is serving a 10-year sentence after he admitted three drugs-related offences and one firearms offence.

The hearing on Wednesday heard Barrass, of Main Street, Dorrington, Lincolnshire, had made an agreed benefit of £221,028 from his criminal activity.

He had realisable assets of £13,746, which the judge ordered him to pay back within three months.

Lincolnshire Police had discovered Nevers was making regular trips from south Lincolnshire to the Reading area.

Mobile phone searches revealed contact between Nevers and Barrass as well as evidence of Class A drug dealing.

Barrass was arrested on 6 August last year and a cannabis grow was found in his garage.

Officers seized 40g (1.4oz) of cocaine, £5,860 in cash, and weapons including a lock knife, an extending baton and a baseball bat.

A sawn-off shotgun, loaded with two cartridges, was also found at his property.
