Crews tackling 'suspicious' fire at four properties

A fire in Winchester involving four commercial properties is being treated as suspicious.

More than 50 firefighters in 10 fire engines were sent to the blaze in The Square at about 06:00 BST.

Hampshire fire service said crews at the "significant" fire were working to bring it under control and stop it spreading further.

People have been urged to avoid the area and keep surrounding roads clear for emergency vehicles. The Square, near the cathedral area, has largely been cordoned off.
