The majority of the papers on Sunday are dominated by the death of a man in Yorkshire after he was attacked by a tiger. The Daily Star declares "Tiger attack horror", and says the unnamed man was killed on Saturday after he climbed into a big cat enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

The Sunday edition of the Mirror has spoken to several witnesses to the attack, one told the paper that "the keepers did everything they could". It reports that both staff and visitors to the zoo "desperately tried to distract the big cat", but police said the man died at the scene.

The front page of the Sunday Times has focused on remarks from US President Donald Trump, after he told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that it was "time to go". It comes one day after the US announced plans to buy more that one million tonnes of diesel from Russia, to what the paper describes as an "outpouring of anger and disbelief" among European leaders and security officials. The president told reporters that Ukraine's continued airstrikes on Russia were driving up American fuel prizes and creating "problems for the world".

The Sunday Telegraph says the US anger at Ukrainian strikes "threatens to deepen the rift" between Trump and UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham. The paper reports that Burnham has offered Zelensky his "full support" in addition to stronger sanctions on Moscow and says the Ukrainian leader was blindsided by the announcement, issuing a "rare public rebuke of the Trump administration".

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has told the Mail on Sunday that she is ready for an election "at any point", amid growing speculation that Burnham will call a "snap poll". According to the paper, Badenoch said she does not believe Burnham's assurances last month that there will be "no election any time soon", and believes he might strike while "both the Green Party and the Liberal Democrats are in disarray".

"EU would 'plunder' Britain if Brexit reversed" reads the Sunday Express, amid fears Burnham will sign up to "catastrophic" deals in Brussels. The paper says Badenoch has accused the prime minister of wanting to plunge the country into an era of "tedious and divisive Brexit debates", ahead of a landmark UK-EU summit next month.

The Sunday Times and the Sunday Telegraph both note that Donald Trump's latest comments about Ukraine's President Zelensky raise questions about UK-US relations. The Sunday Times reports that Trump told the Ukrainian leader "It's time to go" - while Andy Burnham pledged solidarity with Zelensky. The Telegraph believes Trump's anger at Ukrainian strikes on Russian fuel facilities "threatens to deepen the rift with the UK". The Observer says Trump has thrown diesel on the fire of relations with Ukraine to woo back his base. The Sunday Mirror warns that only by standing resolute will peace once more return to Europe.

The Conservative leader, Kemi Badenoch, has told the Mail on Sunday she's put her party on notice for a pre-Christmas general election. The paper says she suspects the prime minister might strike while he's enjoying a bounce in the polls and both the Green Party and the Liberal Democrats are in disarray. The Sunday Times reminds readers that before the Labour party conference, Burnham said, "all of this speculation on an early election - I can knock that dead." So why, asks the paper, is everyone in Westminster more certain than ever that he's lying? Without predicting a date, the Sunday Telegraph says Burnham is rushing through laws to scrap photo ID checks at polling stations. "Quite why Labour wants to make electoral fraud easier to commit is unclear," it poses. Downing Street says changes will ensure the electoral system remains secure, fair and accessible.

The Sunday Mirror leads with what it calls the "Tiger Park Horror", after a man was killed at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. The Sun on Sunday says the tiger dragged the man away in front of horrified families, after he entered its enclosure.
