Person hospitalised after motorcycle and van collide

A person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a motorcycle and a van collided on an dual carriageway.

Lane closures remain in place on the A34 northbound at the Chilton Interchange, after emergency services had to briefly close both sides between the A4185 for Chilton and the A4130 for Didcot.

Thames Valley Police said southbound was now back open but traffic was moving slowly, so advised drivers to find alternative routes.

Both north and southbound diversion routes are in place and National Highways advised travellers to plan ahead to avoid longer delays.
