Murder trial set over stone circle death
SuppliedA murder trial date has been set over the death of a man during a summer solstice event in the Peak District.
The body of Isaac Clare-Watts, 26, from Nottingham, was found in the area of the Nine Ladies Stone Circle in Stanton Lees at 13:38 BST on 22 June.
Szymon Babynko, a 23-year-old Polish national, appeared at Derby Crown Court on Monday charged with Clare-Watts's murder.
Babynko, of Commonwealth Way, London, will stand trial at the same court from 8 March 2027.
He is also charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon following an incident in Hady Lane, Chesterfield, on June 25.
Babynko is due to appear in court on 18 December ahead of the three-week trial.
