Body of 16-year-old boy recovered from water near Callander

A 16-year-old boy has died at a popular beauty spot north east of Callander.

Police said the teenager's body was recovered from the water at Bracklinn Falls following reports of concern for a person.

Emergency services were called to the incident at about 18:45 on Thursday. Police Scotland said the boy's death was not being treated as suspicious.

Bracklinn Falls is a series of waterfalls on the Keltie Water near Callander in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
