Three in court over county lines drug dealing

Three men have appeared in court accused of being involved in county lines drug dealing worth more than £100,000.

The trio were charged with possessing and supplying heroin and crack cocaine after being arrested on Leeds Road in Bradford, on Tuesday.

Police said drugs and cash were seized as part of an investigation into the drugs line, which was operating within Bradford and traveling into North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and the Humber.

Drugs with a street value of more than £100,000 were recovered during the operation, which targeted organised crime and drugs supply within the Holme Wood estate, police said.

Lucas Zerola, 18, of Maple Drive, Wetherby, was charged with supplying heroin and crack cocaine between 1 May and 15 September 2026.

He was also charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine, and possession of criminal property - including cash - seized on 15 September.

Mohammed Ahmed, 22, of no fixed abode, was charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

Lobib Shourav, 22, of St Johns Close, Leeds, was charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

He was also charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and ketamine between 13 February and 3 April 2026.

All three were remanded in custody.

Ahmed will appear at Bradford Crown Court on 20 October, while Zerola and Shourav will appear on 21 October.
