Man's body is discovered in fishing lake

Police are treating the death of a man whose body was found in a fishing lake as unexplained.

Officers were told just before 07:00 BST about a body in Manor Farm Lakes, near Sandy in Bedfordshire.

They said the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was believed to be in his 50s.

Manor Farm Lakes is an 100-acre fishery consisting of a range of seven lakes. The BBC has approached the site for comment.
