Four charged over alleged assault and robbery in Aberdeen

Four people have been arrested and charged after a man was injured in a robbery in Aberdeen.

There was a major police response after the incident in the Gallowgate area of the city at about 21:00 on Tuesday.

Police said officers were called to a report of a man being assaulted and robbed. He was treated for a laceration at the scene, but did not need hospital treatment.

Three men aged 31, 36 and 39, and a 34-year-old woman, were arrested and charged. Police Scotland said they were due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday.
