Cyclist dies after crash involving bin lorry

A cyclist has died after being hit by a bin lorry on a rural road in Lincolnshire.

Emergency services were called to Cross Road, Langtoft, at 10:35 BST on Wednesday.

Lincolnshire Police said the 65-year-old woman died at the scene of the collision which involved a Dennis refuse lorry.

The force appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw the refuse lorry or the woman cycling before the crash, to get in touch.
