Police appeal following 'serious assault' on teenager
Getty ImagesTwo teenagers have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police said the boy was taken to hospital with suspected stab wounds following the attack near Maclean Road in the resort, shortly after 19:00 BST on Sunday.
A 17-year-old boy from Poole and a 17-year-old boy from Bournemouth have been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
Police said there would be an "increased presence" in the area and have appealed for anyone with doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
