Thomas Carey died from multiple head injuries, police said

A man who died from head injuries in south London has been named as Thomas Carey, a 39-year-old from Lambeth.

A murder investigation opened after Carey was declared dead at a property on Poynders Road on 4 September.

The Metropolitan Police said Carey's family had been told of his death and detectives wanted to hear from anybody who might have information about what happened.

No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
