Last car left in condemned multi-storey to go
Alex Pope/BBCThe last car left in a multi-storey car park in a town centre which was closed suddenly two months ago, is set to be collected.
Mayorhold Car Park in Lady's Lane in Northampton was shut by West Northamptonshire Council after crumbling concrete was discovered in the structure.
It was built more than 50 years ago and was due to be demolished next year as part of the wider Greyfriars regeneration programme.
The authority said the owner of the solitary vehicle left in the car park was "making arrangements" for it to be collected.

A decision on whether to reopen the car park had yet to be reached, said the council.
Its spokesperson said: "Following a further collection this week, one vehicle remains on site."
They also apologised for "confusion if any signs have displayed anything other than 'closed' for the car park" since the emergency closure on 21 July.
The council previously said there was "ample" parking elsewhere in the town, but two car parks have been partially closed for two months while archaeological investigations took place for the regeneration programme.
Greyfriars, the site of the town's former bus station, is set to undergo a major redevelopment which will include 1,000 homes, an amphitheatre, shops and restaurants.
The 25-acre (10.1ha) site also includes car parks, a disused corn exchange, and a derelict office block.
