Man in court after drugs worth more than £200,000 seized in vehicle stop
BBCA man has appeared in court after police seized drugs worth more than £200,000 in Perth.
Officers recovered the cocaine during a vehicle stop on Lamberkine Drive at about 20:00 on Tuesday.
A 31-year-old has now appeared at Perth Sheriff Court charged with drug misuse and possession on an offensive weapon.
He made no plea, was committed for further examination and granted bail.
Det Insp Gary Lamb said: "This significant recovery means thousands of pounds of drugs will be kept off our streets and those involved in their supply have been impacted.
"If you are involved in drug supply, we will use every tactic at our disposal to stop you from causing misery in our communities."
Lamb also urged anyone with information to contact the force.
