Robbie Williams will headline a concert ahead of next year's British Grand Prix.

The organisers at Silverstone in Northamptonshire said the pop star would "launch the weekend in unmistakable style".

The singer, whose hits include Rock DJ, Angels and Let Me Entertain You, will open a weekend of music at the sporting event on Thursday 1 July.

Previous headliners include David Guetta and James Arthur.

The race weekend attracted a record-breaking crowd of 564,000 fans in 2026, Silverstone said.

Three more headline acts are expected to be announced, covering every day of the festival-style line-up.

In an announcement, Silverstone said: "Robbie will launch the weekend in unmistakable style performing his greatest hits with a spectacular live show packed with era-defining anthems, showmanship and the larger-than-life energy that has made him one of the world's most celebrated entertainers."

Williams said: "I've heard Silverstone gets loud. Thursday night on the mainstage, let's kick off the British Grand Prix properly."

Tickets go on sale on 24 September.
