Second murder arrest after fatal crash

Emergency services were called to Dallow Road, Luton, after a man sustained fatal injuries

A second man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenager died following a crash.

Bedfordshire Police were called to Dallow Road in Luton at about 22:50 BST on Friday to reports of a collision between a car and an e-bike.

They found a 19-year-old with serious injuries, but despite the actions of emergency services, he was pronounced dead shortly after.

A man, in his 20s, has been arrested and remains in police custody. Another man, aged 20, has been charged with murder.

The street was shut following the death on Friday night while police investigated

Det Insp Caeva Taylor, from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: "Our thoughts remain with the victim's friends and family at this time.

"Our investigation into this incident continues and we are still appealing for anyone who has information, doorbell or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the offence to come forward."
